Notice

Since last year, the project School 2.0 of Government and communities puts in the hands of teachers and students of primary and principle of the ESO new technological resources (mini-notebook for each student, whiteboards and the Internet) that coexist with the old.
Teachers appreciate the interest of students or the vast information available online, but there are teachers who fear the problems of damage by the use of equipment or the time taken to prepare the classroom.
The role of teachers must "undergo a profound change" and go from being a transmitter of knowledge to a facilitator of this diversity of sources

About 75,000 teachers were trained in the use of technologies in the 2009-2010 academic year. This figure, together with the mini-note delivered to 500,000 students and over 20,000 digital classroom (whiteboard, Internet access in class) distributed demonstrate the successful implementation of School 2.0.
The budget now mobilized to EUR 200 million, is jointly funded by the Ministry of Education and communities

Most of the teachers praise the students' enthusiasm for technology, but put a catch: the 15 minutes it takes to prepare the digital classroom as the reasons we decided to School 2.0 model compared to previous computer rooms was the loss of time for transfer of students from one class to other

Madrid and Valencia are the only communities that have not yet joined the plan, and the motivations that have given is that the mini-notebook screen is too small. For the presidents of associations of parents in these communities does not seem right that their children are losing that opportunity

Despite all this new technology, further tests are done with pen, paper and old methodology.
